Bennie Kenneth Sanders

Bennie Kenneth Sanders was born in Estillfork, Alabama on Saturday, December 25, 1937 and went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, April 4, 2024 in Stroud, Oklahoma.

Kenneth was born to Ben and Opal (Hill) Sanders. He has been a resident of Stroud throughout his whole life. Kenneth was a faithful member and Elder of the Stroud Christian Church. Kenneth served his country as a member of the US Navy. He was also a Mason and a member of the American Legion. For many years he was a carpenter and bus driver. In Kenneth’s free time he loved to fish, hunt and golf.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife Pat Sanders, granddaughter Brandi Shoemake; parents Ben and Opal Sanders and sisters Ruby Sanders and Wanda Bierman.

Left to treasure his memory is his son Chip Sanders; daughter Tena Caton and husband Curtis; granddaughter Ashley Caton; great grandson David Caton; great granddaughter Sophie Caton; sisters Ruth Ann Ward and Carolyn Sue Newnam; as well as many nieces, nephews and several friends.

Funeral Services for Kenneth will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Stroud Christian Church at 1:30 pm with burial to follow at Stroud Cemetery.
