Ben Robert Mccord

Ben Robert McCord, age 69, of Harrah, OK, was born on February 9, 1939, in Welch, OK. He was the son of Paul Leslie McCord & Dottie Mae Graham Comstock. He left this life on Saturday, December 20, 2008 in Midwest City, OK. Ben proudly served in the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of the McLoud Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Guthrie, India Shrine Temple of Oklahoma City and the India Shrine Clowns. Ben enjoyed fishing and boating. Ben was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Lucille McCord, Harrah, OK; 3 sons & 1 daughter-in-law, Robbie McCord, Harrah, OK, Jesse McCord, Bethany, OK, Jared & Kristy McCord, Harrah, OK; mother, Dottie Comstock, Vinita, OK; 3 sisters, Jayne McCord, Oklahoma City, OK, Pauletta Farris, Okemah, OK, Sue Jones, Springfield, MO; 7 grandchildren, Taylor McCord, Bethany, OK, Miranda McCord, Harrah, OK, Tony McCord, Harrah, OK, Skylar McCord, Harrah, OK, Shyan McCord, Chandler, OK, Zackary McCord, Harrah, OK, Alyssa McCord, Harrah, OK and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at the Harrah Church, Harrah, OK with Rev. Jimmy Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
