Barry Delano Ellis

Barry Delano Ellis was born September 24, 1962 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 19, 2010 at the age of 48. Barry, the son of Jackson and Margaret (Starr) Ellis, resided in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He attended schools in Shawnee and North Rock Creek. He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Edgar and Myrtle Ellis and his maternal Grandparents, Theodore and Lucille Starr. Survivors include his two children Aerial Janelle and Zachary Taylor of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Quinton Jay and Carrie Ellis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wyman and Pamela Ortiz, Miguel and Tammy Arellano, Benjamin and Teri Torres, Marian Deanna Ellis, Carla Delain Torres, and Robert and Gail Abney all of Shawnee; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles. Tribal services will be held on Thursday evening, October 21, 2010 at the Sac and Fox Community Building in Stroud. Tribal burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 22, 2010 at the Sac & Fox Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
