Barney C. Robison

Barney C. Robison was born on April 30, 1935, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, July 12, 2013, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 78. B.C., the son of Thomas Holmes and Stella (Grant) Robison, was a life-long resident of Paden and Prague. He married Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Muncy, on January 13, 1958. B.C. proudly served his country in the US Army and the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict and the Vietnam era. He retired in 1992 from Tinker AFB as an avianonics supervisor following 27 years of service. He was a member of the Assembly of God. His parents, six brothers, and two sisters preceded B.C. in death. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty Robison of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Doug Robison of Paden, Mark Robison and Bobbi of McLoud; daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Tim Lakins of Prague, Carlita Flient of Midwest City; grandchildren, Lynn Smith, Clayton Robison. Nichole Gill, Joshua Robison and his wife, Jessica, Brittany Hamby and her husband, Sean, Bray Flient Tommi, Jayla Flient; great grandchildren, Zaylee Gill, Kaylynn Gill, Maci Smith, Jordon Robison, Bray Flient, Jr.; and sister, Rebecca Lindsey of Spaulding. The Robison family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Monday evening, July 15, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery.
