Barbara L. Janowiak

Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother the Church, Barbara L. 'Bobbye' Janowiak, age 73, of Oklahoma City, OK, departed this life on Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Oklahoma City, OK. Bobbye was born on August 1, 1935, in Harrah, OK. She was the daughter of Frank & Hattie Malaske Janowiak. Bobbye worked for the Oklahoma Archdiocese from 1982 to 2005. She was a champion of the little guy, always caring and generous with her time and talents. You could always depend on her to get the job done. She will be sorely missed. Who will tend her garden? She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Bobbye was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law. Survivors include 2 sisters & 1 brother-in-law, Martha Castell, Rockport, TX, Dorothy & Don Zurbriggen, San Antonio, TX and many other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Carol Wall, Jim Bowman & Bob Eufinger who were always there for Bobbye. A rosary and wake will be at 6:40 PM, Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 25, 2008, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Price Grimes officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
