Barbara Jean Bruce

Barbara Jean Bruce was born on December 11, 1951, in Rockford, Alabama and departed this life on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, in Prague Oklahoma, at the age of 60. Barbara, the daughter of Louis and Myrtie Lou (Edmonds) Blackwell, a resident of Prague most of her life. She was married to Billy E. Bruce at Chandler, OK on December 18, 1970. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Billy E. Bruce, of the homel ghree sons, Danny Lee and Jeannie Bruce of Freeport, TX.; Michael Bruce, Siloam Springs, AR; Billy Roy and Jamie Bruce, Prague; one brother, Harold and Diana Bruce, Prague; one sister, Peggy and Russell Goodman, Prague; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19,, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Scott Kenneda officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday evening at Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
