Barbara Bess Freid

Barbara Freid, Chandler, OK, resident was born on May 21, 1937, in Los Angeles, CA., and departed this life on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, near her home in Chandler at the age of 74 years. Barbara was the daughter of John and Anita (Thompson) Quillan. She married Ronald Freid at Las Vegas, NV in 1971. Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She had a starring role in the 1939 movie 'Swiss Family Robinson'. Her parents, husband and one daughter preceded Barbara in death. Survivors include Valerie and Jeremie Bays of Wellston, OK. , Mark Freid and Jennifer Sabado of Cupertino, CA and Gregory Dishong also of CA., Joe Quillan, John Quillan, Eddie Quillan and Kate Graham, all of CA, three grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2012, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Stroud, Oklahoma, with Father Jim Mickus officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
