Azelee Sarah Schima

Azelee Sarah Schima was born on January 11, 1921, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2011, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 90. Azelee, the daughter of William G. and Arvie May (Hobbs) Thompson, was a life-long resident of Prague. She graduated from Prague High School She married Wesley Edward 'Buster' Schima on November 24, 1940. He preceded her death on November 8, 1990. Azelee was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Her parents; two sisters, Verna Dawkins and Wilma Eitel; and one sister-in-law also preceded Azelee in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Deryl and Sue Schima of Prague and Johnny and Annette Schima of Shawnee; daughter, Karen Vining of Shawnee; sister, Geneva McCoy of Shawnee; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Chuck Utsler officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague.
