Augusta Mae Dickerson

Augusta Mae Dickerson was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on April 17, 1920 and departed this life in Chandler, Oklahoma on Friday, May 01, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Augusta was the daughter of Arlando C. and Bertha B. Pattison Parks. Augusta was a resident of Davenport, Oklahoma since 1976 moving from Broken Arrow, OK. Augusta married Charles Luther Dickerson in Oklahoma on August 19, 1939. She was member of the First Christian Church in Stroud, and worked for the Stroud America News Paper as type setter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles in 1998, one son, Howard, one daughter, Jo Norman and one granddaughter, Kelly Chopa. Survivors include, One Son in Law:Jim Norman of Davenport, OK, Four Grandchildren, Rusty Norman & wife Deborah of Davenport, OK, Jimmy Fieselman & wife Paula of Butler, OK, Shelly Ingraham of Stroud, OK, Seven Great Grandchildren, Others relatives & friends. Memorial Graveside service will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul Ragle officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
