Augusta Lodema Hyde

Augusta Lodema Hyde was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on August 26, 1934 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on March 12, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Augusta was the daughter of Roy and Adeline (Craig) Grammer. She was a resident of Davenport most of her life. She was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud, and worked as a cook. She married Aubrey August Hyde in Stroud, Oklahoma on December 6, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters. Survivors include, Five Sons, Aubrey Lee Hyde of Davenport, Alfred Hyde of Davenport, Larry Hyde of Stroud, Carl Hyde & wife Ellen of Davenport, Harry Hyde & wife Joyce of Davenport, two daughters, Vickie Murray & husband Tom of Davenport, Carolyn Clovis & husband Kent of Stroud, one brother, Jimmy Simek of Sparks, two sisters, Ethel Harrison of Okemah, Linda Stephen of Stroud, fourteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren. other friends and relatives. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the Davenport Cemetery with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Service is under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
