Aubrey Joe Lollis

Aubrey Joe ?A. J.? Lollis, age 70, of Harrah, OK, was born on March 4, 1936 in Kingston, OK. He was the son of Joe Cephus & Lucy Joan O?Steen Lollis-Blevins. He left this life on February 17, 2007 in Harrah, OK. A. J. attended Murray State College on a football scholarship but played basketball and then served two years in the U. S. Army. He worked as a systems technician for Southwestern Bell, AT&T and in communications for the State of Oklahoma. A. J. attended the Harrah Church of Christ and enjoyed woodworking, horses, the outdoors and carpentry. A. J. was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, LaTrelle Lambert and Letha Purser. Survivors include his wife, Cyrilla Lollis, Harrah, OK; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Kurt Alan & Tamara Lollis, Harrah, OK;1 daughter, Karla Jo Jackson, Harrah, OK; 1 sister, Peggy Copeland, Ardmore, OK; Half-sister,Helen Dickerson, Willis, OK; 6 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK with Mr. Jim Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
