Artie May Jeffries

Artie May Jeffries was born on July 4, 1942, in Woodward, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, January 15, 2011, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. Artie, the daughter of Raymond Arta and Hazel Marie (Charmasson) Gooding, was a resident of Paden, Oklahoma. She married George Jeffries on October 20, 1986 in Fresno, California. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2000. Artie was a homemaker and a member of the Paden First Baptist Church. Her parents and one sister also preceded Artie in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Carla Baker of Paden, Tracy and Susan Baker of Paden, Michael Shawn and Amanda Baker of Stillwater; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Frank Willson of Enid, Mary and Scott Sullivan of Paden, Christy and Tony Curtsinger of Castle; sister and brother-in-law, Ramona Imo of Choctaw, Donna and Emiilo Rameriz of Lakewood, CA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the Paden First Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Pittman officiating.
