Survivors include his wife, Ruby Byrd, Choctaw, OK; 1 son, Tommy Snell, Wellington, KS; 5 daughters & 3 sons-in-law, Sharon Wilkins, Oklahoma City, OK, Michelle & Kenny Shilders, Newalla, OK, Teresa McKey, Choctaw, OK, Norma & Leon Gillum, Luther, OK, Cathy & John Brake, Blanding, UT; 1 sister, Beatrice Whitley, Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; former wife, Frances Burke. The family suggests memorials or donations may be made to Hospice Quality Care, 921 S. Sooner Road, Del City, OK 73115. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
