Arlye A. Hollingshead

Arlye A. Hollingshead was born in Apache, Oklahoma on August 11, 1912 and departed this life in Morristown, New Jersey on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the age of 99 years. Arlye was the daughter of George and Luella (Haskins) Hockderffer. She was a resident of Morristown, New Jersey formally of Stroud, Oklahoma. Arlye was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma and worked as beautician. Arlye married Ralph M. Hollingshead on April 8, 1939 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death January 3, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Don, two daughters, Sondra and Ruth Ann, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include, One Daughter & Son in Law, Jan & Robert Leslie of Morristown, NJ, Eight Grandchildren, Joe Van Armam & wife Marilyn, Jeff Van Armam & wife Arlene, Don M. Hollingshead & wife Gloria, Jill Hollingshead, Steven Leslie& wife Amanda, Lisa Leslie& husband, Alex, and Lori Leslie,Sook Hollingshead, Five Great Grandchildren, Tyler Hollingshead, Kelsey Van Armam, Carlye Van Armam, Greaeme Hollingshead, Lance Hollingshead,Skyler Schur, Other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Church on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Tracy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
