Arlie Thompson

Arlie Ray Thompson was born in Hayward, CA on December 13, 1942 and departed this life in Chandler, Oklahoma on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Arlie was the son of Charley G. and Jimmie Mae (Stephens) Thompson Wilcher. Arlie was a resident of Stroud since 1997. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stroud and worked in the oilfield. Arlie married Linda Cockrel in California. He was preceded in death by his father, 1 brother, and 1 sister. Survivors include, Two Sons, Arlen Scott Thompson & wife Kim of Burleson, TX, Delbert Lynn Thompson of Pampa, TX, One Daughter, Denice Thompson of Ft. Worth, TX, Mother, Jimmie Mae Wilcher of Stroud, OK, Two Brothers, David Wilcher & wife Pam of Depew, OK, Johnny Thompson of Granite Sholis, TX, One Sister,Virginia Hulsey of Prue, OK, Six Grandchidren, Two Nephews, Johnny DeWayne Thompson of Sapulpa, OK, Tanner Hulsey of Prue, OK, Other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud, OK on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
