Arlene Berry Vantrees

Arlene Berry Vantrees was born on March 13, 1941, in Davenport, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday January 10, 2013, in Oklahoma City Oklahoma, at the age of 71. Arlene, the daughter of Cecil Lee Berry and Anna Lucille (Price) Berry, was a resident of Oklahoma City. She was a greaduate of the 1960 Class of Davenport High School. She was a retired Nurse’s Aide, a member of the First Baptist Church of Davenport and worked as a volunteer for the Salvation Army. She was married to John Sherman Vantrees on August 17, 1976 and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elsie Fay Williams. She was survived by; two brothers and their wives, Carl Lee and Linda Berry, Davenport, Charles Edward and Glenda Berry, Davenport; one sister, Lois Ann Gilbert, Davenport, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 21st, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Danforth Senior Center located at 5301 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City. Private interment will be in New Zion Cemetery, Chandler, OK.
