Ardith Mae Paterson

Ardith Mae (Dingman) Paterson, 74, longtime Stroud resident passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, in Stroud, Oklahoma. Ardith was born March 24, 1947, in Kendrick, OK to Donald Franklin and Susie Lavada (Foster) Dingman. She was one of seven children. She married Charles "Pat" Fredie Paterson on September 17, 1971, in, Missouri. She enjoyed working as a Truck Driver alongside her husband Pat for 40 years. Ardith was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Pat Paterson; son Bobby Joe Cody; stepdaughter Vicki Leann Paterson Rowen; Parents Donald and Susie Dingman; brothers James Dingman, David Dingman, and Ronald Dingman and sister Mary Sue Dingman. Survivors include son Donald Gene Cody; sister-in-law Kathy Reeves and her husband Jerry; son-in-law Raymond Rowen; brothers Bill and Dean Dingman; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. The Graveside Service honoring her life will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, OK with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
