Archie Benjamin Nolan

Archie Benjamin Nolan was born on January 27, 1921, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 91. Archie, the son of William and Myrtle Irene (Zade) Nolan, was a resident of Prague. He married Jewel Virginia 'Judy' (Bellamy) Jordan in October 1980. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2000. Archie retired from Johns-Manville Co. in California where he worked as a production machine tender. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents and two brothers also preceded Archie in death. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Loretta Ann Carpenter of Prague, Pamela and Rick Axton of Jacksonville, FL, Debra Nolan of Midwest City; sister Myrtle Carpenter of Prague; grandchildren, John and Tina Carpenter, Jonathan and Krista Grooms, David and Rebecka Axton, Joey and Carrie Brown; and 11 Great-grandchildren. The Nolan family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Parks Brothers Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery
