Annie Lee Roper

Annie Lee Roper, Newalla, OK, age 83, was born on August 14, 1920, in Lamar, CO. She was the daughter of John and Rebecca Dorman Bean. She left this life on November 29, 2003, in Tecumseh, OK. Annie was married November 1, 1947, to William Earl Roper in McLoud, OK . She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Annie had lived in Newalla since 1958. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newalla and ministered as one of the Jolly Elders. She enjoyed collecting bird figurines and spending time with her family, friends and church. Annie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; a brother, Cecil; and a sister, Ruby Mayfield. Survivors include 1 son & daughter-in-law, Charlie & Cindy Roper, Wanette, OK; five grandchildren, Douglas, Priscilla, Stanley, Roseanne and Amanda Roper, Wanette, OK; 2 brothers, Ernest Bean, Oregon and A.J. Bean, Oregon; 1 sister, Thelma Bratcher, Bakersfield, CA, and many other loving family and friends.
