Anna Jewel Bailey

Anna Jewel Bailey was born on August 7, 1914, in Seminole County, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, February 3, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 97. Jewel, the daughter of Henry Shirley and Belle (Ramsey) Hill, was a life-long resident of Seminole County. She married Homer Woodrow Bailey on April 9, 1932 in Seminole County. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1987. Jewel was a member of Haney Methodist Church and a homemaker. Her parents and 11 brothers and sisters also preceded Jewel in death. Survivors include son, S. J. 'Bud' Bailey of Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law, Robby Sue and Billy Wilson of Pasadena, TX; 6 grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Larry Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery in Seminole County.
