Anita Blackwell

Anita Fern Blackwell, long-time Davenport, Oklahoma, resident was born February 17, 1937, in Clinton, Oklahoma. She departed this life on May 24, 2019, in Davenport at the age of 82 years. Anita was the daughter of John and Crystal (Stone) Clark. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1957. Anita loved to quilt, sew, and spend time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Her parents; one daughter, Karen and son-in-law, Leonard preceded Anita in death. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Stephanie Blackwell of Oklahoma City, Bobby Blackwell of Davenport, and Jimmy and Gayla Blackwell of Shawnee; four grandchildren, Karen, Andy, Tyler and Chelsea; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Mary; other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the Davenport Cemetery with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
