Andrew M. Ritchie

Andrew M. Ritchie was born on May 8, 1919, in Hominy, OK, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 89. Andrew, the son of John and Jessie Evans Ritchie, was resident of Chandler, OK. He married Thelma Quisenberry on July 7, 1941, in Salinas, CA. Andrew retired from the United States Army, having served during WWII and the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, wife, three brothers and one sister preceded Andrew in death. Survivors include, Sons, Larry Ritchie of Chandler, OK, Hoyt Ritchie of Chandler, OK, Ron Ritchie of Lockwood, CA, Daughter, Andrea Roanda of Weed, CA, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 2:00 P.M., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, OK with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
