Altus Alva Davidson

Altus Alva Davidson was born in Roff, Oklahoma on July 24, 1910 and departed this life in Yukon, Oklahoma on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the age of 103 Years. He was the son of Nathan and Beulah (Moran) Davidson. Altus was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma since 1938. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Stroud, and retired from the Stroud Post Office as a rural mail carrier. He married Lenora Pearl Johnston in Seminole, Oklahoma on July 14, 1935. She preceded him in death October 5, 1992. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one son, Larry Gene, June 7, 1981, and four sisters. Survivors include, one son and daughter in law, Ken & Sharron Davidson of Yukon, one daughter in law, Marlene Crisp Grand Lake, one sister, Nadene Henry of Abilene, TX, sister & brother by marriage, Kaye & Don Black of Kingfisher, Five grandchildren, Lisa Hudson, Kelliann & Chris Hale, Amy & Craig Hicks, Angie & Scott Wiggy, Melanie Chandler, seven great grandchildren, Kyle & Kayla, Julie, Rory, Carrick, Breanna, Makenzie and Ashley, seven great great grandchildren, numerous nephew and nieces, other relatives and friends Funeral service will be held at the Church of Christ in Stroud on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Dr. Loren Gieger officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
