Altia "Marie" Burch

Altia “Marie” Burch passed from this life Thursday night, December 21, 2017 and joined the love of her life and husband, Joy Wayne Burch in the loving arms of The Lord. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Community of Christ Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Marie was born in Wilson, Oklahoma on May 28, 1928. Her parents were Albert “Ross” Clevenger and Gwendolyn Robison Clevenger. She was very proud of her Native American heritage in the Chickasaw Nation inherited from her mother. She worked at many jobs and occupations and retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1975. Survivors include her two sons, Jim Burch and his wife Lilia of Prague, Oklahoma, and Melvin Burch of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Michael Burch and wife Karen of Fort Worth, Texas, Justin Burch and wife Sumer of South Hadley, Massachusetts, Angela Smith and husband, Jason, of Pace, Florida; six great-grandchildren, Michaele and Brooklyn Burch, Preslei, Ryan, Jaylon, and Atticus Smith Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home The funeral service and interment are private.
