Allene Pendergraft Blackburn, age 73, of Harrah, OK, was born on May 11, 1933 in Stidham, OK. She was the daughter of Henry & Vernie Knight Lee. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in Harrah, OK. Allene married Daniel E. ?Gene? Blackburn in June, 1953 in Sulphur, OK. She was a homemaker and a beautician for 18 years. She was a member of the Harrah Red Rose Garden Club and she was the chairman of Harrah Day Committee several times. Allene was the neighborhood MeMa. She enjoyed flower gardening, crochet and wood and art crafts. Allene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel E. ?Gene? Blackburn, her brother, J. B. Lee and nephews, Mark Lee and Randy Lee. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Lynnette Blackburn, Harrah, OK; daughter, Debbie Burchett, Harrah, OK; five brothers, Raymond Lee, Davis, OK, George Lee, Davis, OK, Monroe Lee, Sulphur, OK, Tuffy Lee, Davis, OK, Bob Lee, Sulphur, OK; 1 sister. Betty Lee Runyan, Sulphur, OK; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie Puckett, Spring Lake, NC, Lance Burchett, Edmond, OK, Colby Blackburn, Harrah, OK and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK with Rev. Hubert Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
