Alice Virginia Calhoun, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. Alice was born on September 22, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Billy Eyril and Wilma Faith (Calliham). Alice grew up in Idaho, where she lived until after high school, when the family moved back to Oklahoma.
Alice was known for her fiery personality and her adventure loving side. She was affectionately known by her friends as "Crazy Alice." Alice was always looking for an adventure and she loved to go fast. She enjoyed riding in her son's muscle car and on the back of his motorcycle. She also had a motor bike that she enjoyed riding all over town.
Alice was very independent from an early age. She went out on her own at the age of 16. Anything Alice set her mind to do, she was going to do it. She often told it like it was and had no issue speaking her mind. She loved to laugh and to have fun. Her love for adventure, her jokes and her love for dancing, even though she had no rhythm, will be greatly missed.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kathy Jacobs.
Those left to cherish her memories are: her son, Branden Calhoun, two sisters, Dianna Brooms and her husband, Roger and Darlene England and her husband, Mike; one brother, James Calhoun and his wife, Rhonda; one brother-in-law, Ronnie Jacobs; her nieces and nephews, Lori Hill, Cheryl Thompson, Roman Calhoun, Dustin Bernard, Steven Calhoun Keith Swedberg, Brandi Lohman, Rennee Buoy, Chantillee Clary, Ammi Duke, Jonny England, Kevin England and her two beloved cats, Midnight and Sugar.
