Alfred Edwin Boydston was born on July 29, 1922, in Alva, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. Al, the son of Lee and Martha (Canada) Boydston, and stepson of Lola Boydston, was a resident of Prague. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Al married Annie Grace Dickey on July 4, 1953, and they remained married until her death in January 2006. He worked as a transportation director at Wilson Meat Packing Plant. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Prague. Al’s parents, wife, and 8 of his siblings preceded him in death. Al is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Daniel Meyer of Prague; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brother,Herbert Boydston of Tucson, AR; sisters, Alta Montoya of Wichita, KS, and Jeannie Schmidt of Kingman, KS; and other numerous family and friends
