Alexander Todd Huffman, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, resident was born August, 7, 1984, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November 23, 2018, in Tahlequah at the age of 34 years. Alexander was the son of Gregory and Kimberly (Edwards) Huffman. He was an alumnus of St. Gregory's Academy, Elmhurst, Pennsylvania where he was an honor student, a standout soccer player and also a starter on the rugby team. Alexander was in numerous school plays and musicals and juggled and sang his way through France with classmates when he was 16. He was a cantor in the Gregorian Schola and a Master of Ceremonies for Our Lord's altar, services he continued to perform into his adult life, and was a knight in the order of St. John Bosco. Alexander's #1 priority was spending time with his young son whenever possible. He loved nature, animals, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, singing, playing his guitar and bodhran, was an exceptional dancer and even worked as a cowboy on horseback in New Mexico for several months. Alexander was handy with tools like his father and grandfathers and could often be found helping a friend in need. His grandparents, Jim and Sue Huffman; grandfather, Johnny Edwards; grandmother and step-grandfather, Mary Lou Jones Edwards Allen and W.C Allen preceded Alexander in death. Survivors include, one son, Nikolai Alexandrevich Huffman of Tahlequah; parents, Gregory and Kimberly Huffman of Highland Village, Texas; three sisters and brother-in-law, Neely Huffman Thompson and husband Daniel of Solon Iowa, Ainsley Huffman of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Phoebe Huffman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Olivia, Rosemary, Ethan, and Calder Thompson; his Mazzio's family in Muskogee and Tulsa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 30, 2018, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler. A wake will be held at 7:00PM, Thursday, November 29th at Kilkenny's Irish Pub, 1413 E. 15th St, Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Rosary will be held at 9:30AM, Friday, November 30th at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey, 5804 W.
