Aleta Roberta Neely

Aleta Roberta Neely was born on September 1, 1922, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 87. Aleta, the daughter of Robert Homer and Bertha (Prevett) Suggs, was a life-long resident of Paden/Prague area. She married Warren Neely on January 20, 1943 in Shawnee. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1994, following 51 years of marriage. Aleta was a homemaker and a member of the church of Christ in Prague. Her parents and one sister also preceded Aleta in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Rose Neely of Paden; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Gary Greene of Bixby, Reatha and Chuck Nuttall of Prague; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ruth Suggs of Midwest City; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Gene Beavers of Cedar Hill, TX, Betty Suggs of Moore; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at the Prague Cemetery with Leonard McMinn officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
