Alene Nadine Blemmel

Alene Nadine (Shults) Blemmel was born in Roosevelt, Oklahoma on November 19, 1928 and departed this life in Claremore, Oklahoma on November 3, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Alene was the daughter of Barry Thomas and Vergie Bessie (Collins) Shults. She was a resident of Claremore. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Meeker and loved cooking, sewing and listening to gospel music. Alene married Walter Charles Blemmel in Chandler on December 6, 1947. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Barry & Vergie Shults, daughter Linda Gail Blemmel, two brothers Charles and Bill G. Shults, and one sister Donna Mae Johnson. Survivors include two sons Randy Thomas Blemmel of Prague, Ricky Charles Blemmel of Claremore, four grandchildren Shane Young of Oklahoma City, Chad Blemmel Prague, Mica Wederski of Seminole, Latasha Wells of Chesapeake, VA., one great grandchild Samson Blemmel, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Burial will follow in the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Prague.
