Alberta "Birdie" Rikard

Alberta “Birdie” Rikard, former Meeker, OK, resident was born on July 15, 1916, in Batesville, MS, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in Cushing, OK, at the age of 92 years. Alberta was the daughter of Purley and Lille (Perkins) Rikard. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Alberta was a member of Meeker Baptist Church. Her parents, one brother and two sisters preceded Alberta in death. Survivors include, One niece & nephew, Martha Sue & Delmer Miller of Chandler, OK, one grand-niece, Dedri Franks of Chandler, One grand-nephew, Darren Miller of Chandler. Other relatives and friends. Private family services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
