Alan Dale Martin

Alan “Dale” Martin of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Prague, at the age of 62. Dale was born on November 20, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of William Lewis “Bill” and Betty Jean (Smith) Martin. Dale grew up in Oklahoma City and was a 1980 graduate of US Grant High School in Oklahoma City. Upon completing high school, Dale went to work in the pipefitting industry where he had long career building boiler room heating and cooling systems.

Dale was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 344. He enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. As a young man, he enjoyed playing many sports including football, baseball and softball. Dale was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time on his land. Dale was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by many.

Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Mickey Martin.  Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bill and Betty Martin; his sister, Cheryl Foster and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
