Adrain Leon Thomas

Adrain Leon Thomas, age 84, of McLoud, OK, formerly of Meeker & Choctaw was born on November 19, 1925, near Wellston, OK. He was the son of Charles Everett & Fiana 'Fanny' (Dibler) Thomas. He left this life on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at his home in McLoud, OK. Adrain attended White Rock School, Choctaw High School and he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Adrain married Aline Fry on January 1, 1955, in Nicoma Park, OK. He worked as an aircraft electrician at Tinker AFB for 22 years, retiring in 1975. Adrain enjoyed working on old tractors and cars and helping people. Adrain was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Wilma, Viola, & Lorine Cable; brothers, Everett, Billy & Ralph. Survivors include his wife, Aline of the home; daughter, Jean and her husband, Gary Cloke of Meeker, OK; sons, Paul and wife, Margaret of Harrah, OK, Darrell and his wife, Andrea` of Choctaw, OK. Adrain had seven grandchildren, Scott Cloke and wife Dana, Jennifer Cloke Shearer and husband, Geff, Joshua Thomas and wife, Nikki, Krista Lyons and husband, Travis, Cheslea Weston, Todd Thomas, and Aline Cheyenne Thomas. Great-grandchildren: Amber, Tristen, & Jayna Croisant, Cooper Cloke, Kaleb, Olivia & Mykayla Shearer, Hunter & Blake Lyons and soon to arrive, Clayton Thomas. A sister, Thelma Kelley and husband, Louis of Moore, OK; brother, Ray Thomas and wife, Virginia of Choctaw, OK. Three sisters-in-law, Macy Thomas, Mary Thomas & Kathryn Bruce; and one brother-in-law, Bill Fry. Plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, August 23, 2010, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Larry Hatfield & Rev. John Vogt officiating. Interment will follow at Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
