Adele B. Laszlo

Adele B. Laszlo, age 89, was born on September 2, 1915, in Detroit, Michigan and departed this life on Friday, June 10, 2005, in Harrah, Oklahoma. Adele was the daughter of William & Augusta Kroll Kindt. She received her undergraduate degree from Emmanuel Missionary College and graduated with a Masters Degree from the Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. On August 6, 1944, she married David Peter Laszlo, who preceded her in death. She was a teacher at Cedar Springs Public Schools, in Michigan, for 27 years and at the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventist for four years. After her retirement she substituted for the Blue Eye, Missouri School System and also worked for the church school library in Grand Rapids, MI. Adele was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Michigan Association of Retired Teachers. She was always very involved in community service. Adele enjoyed playing the piano, reading, especially her Bible, sewing and traveling. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Adele was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one sister. Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Dan & Mary Laszlo of Ft. Collins, CO, Mark & Karen Laszlo of Waterford, MI; 2 daughters & 1 son-in-law, Kathleen & Gary Wilson of Choctaw, OK, Ilene Hahn of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Emily Coats of Harrah, OK, Betty Bernard of Riverview, MI; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the Summit Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harrah, OK, with interment to follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
