William Thomas Banks

William Thomas ?Tom? Banks, age 74, was born on August 10, 1930, in Sparks, OK, and departed this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in Shawnee, OK. Tom was the son of Will E. & Melva Holt Banks. He served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean conflict. Tom worked as an oilfield pumper. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Minnie and one son, Johnathan Banks. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law,Diana & Wayne Clark, Chandler, OK; 1 son, Thomas Banks, Iowa; 1 step-son, Dan Parks, Ft. Smith, AR, and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Banks may be viewed at Parks Brothers Funeral Home, 617 Manvel, Chandler, OK, on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2005, at New Zion Cemetery, Chandler, OK, with Pastor Johnny Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
