William C. "Bill" Robertson

William C. 'Bill' Robertson was born in Davenport, Oklahoma on March 3, 1930 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Bill was the son of Edward C. and Celeste (Betremieux) Robertson. He was a resident of Stroud, Davenport all of his life. He graduated from Davenport High School in 1948. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud and owned/operated Robertson Oil Company. He married Betty Barker in Clovis, New Mexico on May 14, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wife, Betty of the home, J.C. Survivors include, One son & daughter in law, R.E. 'Bob' & Hatsumi Robertson of Tulsa, One brother & sister in law, Bob & Jeannine Robertson of Rockwall, TX , One sister & brother in law, Geraldine & Jack Duff of Ft. Worth, TX, Four grandchildren:Gary Robertson, Cande Baker,, Robert 'Rob' Robertson, and Jason Robertson, Four Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
