William "Bill" Holt, Jr.

William 'Bill' Holt, Jr., age 76, of Harrah, OK, was born on March 11, 1936, in Lequire, Oklahoma. He was the son of William Baxter & Dorothy (Stout) Holt. Bill went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2012, in Harrah, OK. Bill married Wanda Learned on March 24, 1956, in McCurtain, OK. He was a truck driver, member of the Teamsters Union and the Democratic Party. Bill enjoyed antiques and working on the farm with his oldest grandson. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, one brother and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Holt, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Mary & Tim Theiss, Harrah, OK; brother, John Thomas Holt, McCurtain, OK; 4 grandchildren, James Poston, Jr. & Melissa, Katheryn Elizabeth Poston, Carrie Elizabeth Theiss, Joshua Adam Theiss; 6 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. There will be visitation on Thursday, September 13, 2012, from 9:00AM to 12:30PM, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, 204 Northeast F Street, Stigler, OK. Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Old Panther Cemetery, McCurtain, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
