Walter Towler Jr.

Walter Towler Jr. was born on October 31, 1938, in Prairie Grove, AR, he went to be with his lord and savior on Friday, March 20, 2009, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 70. Walter, the son of Walter Herman and Lillie Mae Edwards Towler, was a resident of Chandler. He married Carol Burns on March 31, 1961, in Jones, OK. Walter worked as a carpenter, having owned a construction company for many years. He attended the First Baptist Church in Wellston, OK, and worked as a Lincoln County reserve deputy. His parents, one son, and one brother preceded Walter in death. Survivors include wife of 47 years Carol of the home. Son and daughter-in-law Howard & Kathy Towler of Midwest City, OK. Brothers Lee Towler of Oklahoma City, OK., Harold Towler of Monnett, MO., John Towler of McAlester, OK. Sister Mae Riddle of Harrah, OK. Granddaughter Christiane Towler of Rodgers, AR.Other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009, at 10:00 A.M.at Kellerby Cemetery in Prague, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
