Terry Lynn Gouker, Sr.

Terry Lynn Gouker, Sr., was born on July 10, 1954, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 54. Terry, the son of Vernon Carl and Thadia Bernice Burton Gouker, was a life-long resident of Prague. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. He married Jo Ellen Tapp on November 18, 1977 at the Assembly of God in Prague and was the owner and operator of Flying G. Firewood in Prague. His parents, four brothers, and two sisters preceded Terry in death. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jo Ellen Gouker of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Glen Gouker of Prague, Kyle and Molly Gouker of Broken Arrow, Terry, Jr., and Marcy Gouker of Panama; daughter, Michele Gouker of Prague; grandchildren, Kyla, Dylan, Kailey, Makenzye, Jordan, and Timber Gouker; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Teresa Gouker of Prague; sisters, Linda Huggins of Modesto, CA, Francis Friend of Missouri, Margie Dosier of Oregon, Betty Gatlin of Oregon. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10:00 AM, at the Paden Cemetery in Paden with Bro. Tim Emmons and Penny Veitenheimer officiating.
