Tawana Faith Hynes

Tawana F. Hynes was born in Lula, Oklahoma on October 18, 1941 and departed this life at her home in Stroud on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Tawana was the daughter of Bill and Lois Lenora (Kerr) Lillard. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Stroud and was a homemaker. She loved to be with her family and friends and designing flowers. Tawana married Michael Hynes in Miami, Oklahoma on March 31, 1989. He preceded her death on November 3, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her father and two brothers. Survivors include, mother, Lois Lenora Lillard, of Stroud, two sons, Kent Billings and wife Queena of Bristow, Wade Billings of Stroud, one sister, Nell Jackson of Ada, four grandchildren, Krystal Miles, Kasey Danner, Jodasea Williams and Brayden Billings, three great grandchildren, Brody Miles, Brexten Miles and Swayzi-Kate Danner, others relatives and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at the Free Will Baptist Church in Stroud on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tim Gillespie and Pastor Johnny Plum officiating. Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
