Sue Nell Hays

Sue Nell Hays, age 71, of Harrah, OK, was born July 25, 1945, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of John Leo & Iva Nellie (Allen) Corter. She left this life on Friday, October 21, 2016, in Midwest City, OK. Sue married Larry E. Hays on September 7, 1962, in Shawnee, OK. She retired from Tinker AFB, where she was a records clerk. Sue enjoyed sewing, country & western dancing, traveling and was a very good cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert Hays and seven siblings. She is survived by her husband, Larry Hays, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Michele & Treves Cogdill, Harrah, OK; brother, Sonny Corter, Tecumseh, OK; 2 grandchildren, Faith Hays, Kelsey Miller; 3 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Harrah Nursing Center and Arbor House in Midwest City for their excellent care and compassion. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK. Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
