Ruth Ellen Munson Reno

OBITUARY: Ruth Ellen (Munson) Reno Ruth Ellen Munson Reno was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on February 28, 1948 and departed this life in Canon City, CO. on July 19, 2019 at the age of 71 years. Ruth was the daughter of Arthur Harold and Ethel Ellen (Taylor) Munson. She was a resident of Stroud all her life. Ruth love to go back roading, cooking, working with her flowers, hunting mushrooms, being with family and keeping Roy in line. She was the owner and operator of Stroud Coin Laundry in Stroud until 2017. Ruth married Darrell Reno and he preceded her in death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lisa, one brother, Harold and one sister, Betty. Survivors include one daughter, Terisa Clark & husband Roy of Depew, three brothers, Ray Munson & wife Phyllis of Stroud, Roy Munson & wife Neeta of Cushing, Carl Munson & wife Clarissa of Stroud, three sister, Helen Cook of Wellington, KS, Minnie Munson of Winfield, KS, Colene Berry of Chandler, three grandchildren, Tamara Clark of Stroud, Latrisha Martin of Depew, and Lisa Clark of Olive, three great grandchildren, Henry Martin, Clancy Martin, and Ruthann Brown, beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud on July 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Vickery Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
