Rosemary "Peggy" Dugan

Rosemary "Peggy" (Southerland) Dugan was born on June 16, 1934 in Chillicothe, Missouri and left this life on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Peggy was the daughter of Ora and Lena (Pyle) Southerland. Peggy married Albert Cecil Dugan on November 26, 1952 in Oklahoma City and the couple were happily married for more than 63 years when he preceded her in death on January 11, 2016.

Peggy enjoyed spending her time in her garden, caring for the animals on the farm and canning the vegetables she lovingly grew. Her greatest passion was her family and she loved being "Nanny" to her grandchildren. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by many.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 63 years, Albert Cecil Dugan and two brothers, Bud Southerland and Howard Southerland.

She is survived by her daughter, Rena Ligon and her companion, Clayton Stover; her son, Terry Dugan and his wife, Toni; four grandchildren, Colby Dugan and his wife, Amber, Ginni Lou Glaze, Bradley Jenkins and his wife, Michelle and Kim Jenkins Turner; two sisters, Evelyn Chinnery and Pat Earlywine and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
