Ronald Jones

Ronald Jones departed this life to his Heavenly home on September 1, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home in Stroud, OK.

Ronald was born to Dr. William I. and Willoris (Naumann) Jones on January 31, 1961 in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Stroud High School and then went to work. He went to work for a GE/ABB as a field service technician for 24 years. Ronald met and married Tonya Danker on December 31, 1980 at the Stroud First United Methodist Church. Ronald and Tonya had three boys together and with that came a big involvement in cub scouts and boy scouts. Ronald had a love for his family especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed being outdoors. Ronald was a kind, humble, giving, well loved and respected man; he will undoubtedly be deeply missed.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents.

Ronald leaves behind his wife of 42 years Tonya Jones of the home; son Jeromy and wife Katie Jones of Stillwater, OK; son Kyle Jones and Brandee Bridges of Glencoe, OK; son Lance and wife Barbara Jones of Stroud, OK ; grandchildren Emily and Grady Jones of Stillwater, OK and Mason and Colton Jones of Stroud, OK; siblings David Jones and wife Debbie of Tyler, TX, Cynthia and Tom Cannady of Blanchard, OK, Jim Jones and wife LouAnn of Chandler, OK; Donald Jones of Cleveland, OK, Joe Jones and wife Martha of Meeker, OK, and Nancy Kirk of Stroud, OK; as well as extended family and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Stroud First United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Stroud Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can me made in Ronalds name to any cancer charity, your local Cub or Boy Scout troops or any other youth organization.
