Robert "Robby" Gordon

Robert Lane Gordon was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on December 17, 1966 and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 51 years. Robert was the son of Robert Leon Gordon and Pamela Kay Quinn. He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He married Dorothy Turley on September 17, 2000 in Chandler. He was a Affiliated with the Straight Street Ministries in Chandler and worked for Service King as a Production Coordinator. He loved the outdoors, working with cattle, farming, driving heavy equipment, and fishing and hunting. He loved playing the drums and singing with his daddy Rob. Most of all, he was a man who centered his life around his family and fought for those he loved. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home, four sons and daughters, Patricia Ann Bittinger & husband Eric of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joshua Lane Gordon of Oklahoma City, Victoria Lane Gordon of Kansas City, MO., Robert James Gordon of Stroud; father and mother, Robert and Dixie Gordon of Stroud, Vern and Pamela Quinn of Stroud; six brothers and sisters, John Gordon of Stroud, Laurie Bunyard & husband Michael of Morrison, Melissa Goodman & husband Mike of Stroud, Keri Douglas & husband Robert of Stroud, Mandi Siebert of Stillwater, Vernon Quin Jr. of Stroud; four grandchildren, Ayvrie, Lennox, Ronin and Gavin; and other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM. with Rev. Russ Furgason and Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kendrick Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
