Robert James Gordon

Robert James Gordon was born in Stroud, Oklahoma in October of 1995. He went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 at 6:07 PM at age 26. Robert was the son of Dorothy and Robert Gordon. He resided in Stroud, Oklahoma, and worked as a family farmhand and a diesel mechanic at Service King. All who knew Robert considered him kind, gentle, and loving. He enjoyed fishing, art, science, mushroom hunting, listening to music, Camaros, and gaming with friends. He loved hunting and working with his dad, cooking and road trips with his mom, he had fun teasing his sister Victoria and making ridiculous inside jokes and he loved seeing his siblings Trish and Josh whenever he could. He enjoyed working and spending time with his grandparents, cousins, and friends any chance that he got. He was a sentimental man who loved his family and had an inquisitive mind that loved solving puzzles and exploring new ideas. He left a mark on the heart of anyone he met and he is already deeply missed. Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather (Earl) and his father (Robert Gordon). He is survived by his paternal grandparents (Pamela and Vern Quinn and Rob and Dixie Gordon), maternal grandmother (Sandra), his mother Dorothy, sister Patricia (wife of Eric), brother Joshua, and sister Victoria. Additionally, by his niece Ayvrie, nephews Lennox, Gavin, Ronin, and Raiden, as well as many cousins. The viewing will be Sunday, June 12th from 1 PM - 8 PM, and Monday, June 13th from 8 AM - 8 PM at Parks Brother Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Jeromye Jackson will be officiating. The pallbearers will be Keith, Vernon, John, Kael, Coleton, and Bryant. The burial will follow in the Kendrick Cemetery.
