Rickey James "Rick" Skaley

Rickey James Skaley was born on August 16, 1948, in Eureka, SD, and departed this life to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at his home near Chandler, OK, at the age of 61. Rick was the son of Theodore William “Ted” and Esther (Blumhardt) Skaley. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Rick married Nancy Conley in May of 2000 in Albuquerque, NM. He worked as a pipefitter for General Motors for many years. His parents preceded Rick in death. Survivors include, wife, Nancy of the home, daughter, Becky Lawson of Chandler, OK, two brothers, Ron Skaley of Greeley, CO,Bryon Skaley of Piedmont, OK, two sisters, Bonnie Beck of Wellston, OK, Patricia Johnson of Del City, OK, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00A.M., at the Charis Community Church in Chandler with Rev. Scott Carver officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
