Former Prague, Oklahoma resident, Rev. Robert 'Bob' Owen Croucher, was born on June 2, 1943, in Reily, Ohio, and departed this life at his home on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in Jones, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. Bob, the son of Owen Herman Croucher and Leila Mae (Logsdon) Croucher, was a resident of Jones, Oklahoma. He was born while his dad was stationed with the Navy in Hawaii during World War II. He grew up on the family farm near Reily, Ohio. They operated a successful dairy operation and raised award winning registered Holsteins. Bob graduated from Reily High School with the class of 1961 and attended Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, graduating in 1978. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He married Elaine Lakes on June 12, 1970, in Hamilton, Ohio. Prior to attending Rhema Bible College, Bob was active in mission work for the Navaho Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico and numerous overseas locations. On December 3, 1978, Bob and Elaine Croucher answered the prayers of a small prayer group in Prague and started Inter-Faith Chapel. Over the years, Inter-Faith Chapel grew into Faith Bible Church. After laying a solid foundation over their 26 years at Faith Bible Church, Bob and Elaine began feeling God pull them in a different direction of ministry. On June 5, 2005, they stepped out in the itinerant ministry. From 1985 to 2013, Bob served as the Regional Director of Rhema Ministerial Association International, for the state of Oklahoma. Bob loved teaching the Word of God, flying airplanes, bird watching, WWII movies, and the space program. His father preceded Bob in death. Survivors include: wife of 43 years, Elaine Croucher of the home; daughter & son-in-law, Lynette & Tyler McKee of Prague; mother, Leila Croucher of Hamilton, OH; brother, Ken Croucher of Oxford, OH; grandson, Dax McKee of Prague; seven nephews and one niece; a host of family and friends.
