Ray Ash, a Stroud, Oklahoma resident was born in Kendrick, Oklahoma on February 16, 1931 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma Monday, February 19, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Ray was the son of John Lester and Carmen Alice Curry Ash. Ray was a resident of Stroud area all of his life, was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Stroud, worked as a truck driver for Allied Material Corp. and Miller Trucking Company in Stroud, OK. Ray married Cuma Fern Carroll in Stroud, Oklahoma on September 30, 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janet Ash in 1957, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
