Pat Mae Sanders

Pat Mae Sanders was born in Roff, Oklahoma on January 23, 1939 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Pat was the daughter of Eli and Iva Pearl (McGee) Summers. She was a resident of Stroud throughout her whole life. Patsy was a founding member of the Stroud Christian Church. She married Bennie Kenneth Sanders on December 27, 1957 in Kendrick, Oklahoma. Patsy worked for Dan's BBQ where she cooked and smoked foods. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Her husband Bennie Kenneth Sanders of the home, one son, Chip Sanders of Stroud, one daughter Tena Nabors of Stroud, one granddaughter, Brandi Shoemake of Stroud, sister and brother-in-law Willadean and Doyle Austin of Shawnee, two brothers and sister-in-law Delmar and Sylvia Summers of Stroud, Ray 'Simp' Simpson Summers of Stroud. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Stroud Christian Church at 2:00 p.M. with Pastor Will Fine and Pastor Randy Ethridge officiting. Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud.
